On Saturday, October 8th we will be running the Brooklyn Half Marathon. Many of us wanted to run for a cause, and we found just that.

In May of 2015 our best friend Juliana Palmieri lost her mother to cancer. She was an incredibly beatuiful, kind-hearted, strong, intelligent and caring woman who will never be forgotten. One of the organizations/companies that Juliana holds close to her heart is Love Your Melon. Love Your Melon sells warm hats to consumers, but with every hat they sell, they give one to a child with cancer. In addition, they donate a large part of their earnings to 2 foundations: CureSearch and PinkySwear. Both foundations specifically conduct research and help families of children with cancer, and cancer patients themselves. 

We would love and deeply appreciate any donations you are willing to send our way to raise money for these foundations. No amount is too little and all earnings will go directly towards them. We are very thankful for all of your help and support.
