Help Kira Swim With Dolphins!

Kira is an amazing and inspirational 4 year old. Looking at her, one would never know the daily struggle going on inside her body because she is so DARN happy all of the time and she is such a light to be around. Kira watches from the sideline while other kids play with squirt guns/water balloons, swim, run through the sprinkler or simply play in the rain because she knows she cannot get wet. Can you imagine having a child this young that can't take a regular bath? Any compromise of her central line could mean a life-threatening infection for Kira. She adjusts and lives with her limitations and does it with far more grace than I think I could. So she watches, hoping some day she may be able to join in on the fun with her friends and family. ***Well that day is HERE!!*** Kira's Mom and Dad found a company in the UK that makes dry suits for children with a central line- with enough room for her backpack! With donations from our generous friends and family, our hope is that we can cover costs not only for this dry suit and misc medical expenses (and for a larger suit for when she gets bigger), but also for the cost of the excursion for her and her family to swim with dolphins in Grand Cayman this November. Let's make this vacation special for Kira and her parents! She deserves this. They deserve it. Can you imagine, the first time Kira swims for it to be in the ocean? How amazing would YOU feel to have been a part of making that happen for this precious child?
