Hello! I am Patti Williams and I am Maverick Justice Barrandey's grandma. Yesterday, my sweet grandbaby had a terrible accident when he ingested a toxic fluid. He had to be airlifted to a children's hospital in Lubbock, Tx. It did not look like he was going to survive. He has coded many times, but has fought back each time. He is in critical condition at this time. So many family and friends have poured out their love and have prayed unceasingly for this baby and our family. I am confident that God has sustained him. As you can imagine, his parents, Benjamin and Brittany, are devastated and are at his bedside asking God to hold him and show mercy. We have hope as there have been signs of turn around today. The doctors have said that they will be there at least a month. I started this page because they need help. While Maverick is recovering, they still have 4 other children that need to be taken care of. They still have rent to pay, utilities, groceries, gas and all of the other expenses of running a household. Not to mention trips back and forth to the hospital. That's a little hard to do without income. By funding this page, Ben and Brittany can concentrate on Maverick and Gracie, Cade, Landon and Christian without the added stress of finances. A baby in the PICU (pediatric intensive care unit) is stressful enough. It hurts a mother's heart when her children are in desperate situations. My heart is hurting for them. It would mean so much to me and this family for any help that you could give. All I ask is that you seek God first. Ask Him if you are to give. If He speaks to your heart, then I ask you to be obedient to His voice. I pray that a super natural blessing returns to you for your generosity. If you don't feel led to give, that's ok. I appreciate you taking time to read this page and ask that you say a prayer for Maverick to continue to heal and for strength and courage for our family in the days ahead.
