Barb has always been there for me ever since we met ten years ago when our kids became (best) friends in Kindergarten at Pembroke Elementary. Everything she has done in that time has been to provide and care for her amazing daughter Samantha, who also has medical needs of her own as a Stage 1 diabetic. Now Barb needs our help! She was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast cancer while undergoing a procedure on her back. She has limited resources, can no longer work and has no long term disability - in short things couldn't get much worse. That's why I've decided to reach out to all of the caring people of this community who I know will step up BIG to help Barb and Sam through this brutal fight. My goal is to help pay her rent, medical bills and any other bills associated with her treatment so that she doesn't have to bear any additional stress.
