Road to Nationals...

Hello everyone!

My name is Renee but my friends in the gym call me "Gina". I started lifting about 3 years ago when my fiancé passed away from COVID. It was truly a way to release my anger and have a way to cope with my grief. After a couple months of consistency, I fell in love with the weights and decided to compete for the first time in a powerlifting competition. A little less than 2 years, 4 competitions, and 8 State Records later I have qualified for Nationals that will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 27th. This sport and community have been nothing but loving and supporting during a time I needed it the most. As I begin my preparation for Nationals, the sport can be quite expensive from training, nutrition, registration fees, equipment, travel expenses, etc. I am beyond grateful and appreciative of any help I can get whether that be monetarily or through prayer.
