HELP ME DOWN THE RIGHT PATH
Donation protected

Joshua's mother and I divorced when he was young, and ultimetly, it has had some negitive effects on him. We had a difficult time co-parenting and I tried my best to keep our son on a good path with his academics, sports and family values. Unfortunetly, in 2012 I had to relocate for four months for work in order to continue paying for his medical bills. Until that time he exclusively lived with me, and due to the circumstances had to live with his mother. This is when he started going down the wrong path.
Recently, I have contracted Lumbar Degenerative Disease, which prevented me from working in the same industry I was in for many years. My mother also came down with Dimentia and for the last three and ahalf years I have had to care for her.

Up until March 2016, he was doing great in school, athletics , loved by everyone, but all of a sudden took a turn for the worse after football season ended around that time. He stopped playing sports, stopped going to school, alienated the ones closest to him and lost a lot of weight. I was loosing him. I had to intervene and stop his spiral down to a bad place. I won him back incourt at full custody so that I could get him back on the right path. For the last couple of weeks, it has been diffivult. He ran away 2 times and ended up in the emergency because of his drug abuse and diabetes.

Insurance only covers so much. We need to get him in as soon as possible so that he can get the right treatment. There are registration fees and deductibles that are required up front. Insurance is pre-authorizing their portion but there is still a large amount that needs to be raised as we do not know if he needs the minimum of forty five to sixty days or four to six months, as his diseases are severe.
Your financial support means so much to us, as well as your prayers at any level. Words can not describe the appreciation and the feelings I have knowing he will be able to get the help he need while being able to utilize the tools he will learn to stay clean and get him back to the Joshua we all know and love.
