Let's start from the beginning,
Andy Parker if you know him the first thing that comes to mind is loyalty, and a true friend. Any has been part of our lives for years, not just family but in business also. Since coming over from England Andy has established himself in the Tool and Die community as one of the best. He has helped numerous companies build quality dies, and has helped hundreds of people find their way in this crazy business.
But Andy is not all about work he loves to play and when I mean play I am talking about GOLF. Now I can hit the ball, but this guy is the definition of consistancy and a great ball striker.
In March, before the Golf season started this year, though Andy developed a blood clot and was admitted to the hospital for observation. When they drew Andy's blood the doctors had discovered that Andy had cancer. The doctors wasted no time and Andy had his first regimin of Chemo in April with 2 more treatments scheduled for the next 2 months. By July fourth and had completed his third round of Chemo and was waiting to get a Bone marrow biopsy to find out if he had gone into remission.
While remission did not turn out to be the case Andy is determined to still FIGHT this with everything he has. At the end of July Andy made a trip to Chicago to the University of Chicago Medicine for a fairly new T-Cell treatment. Turns out he was a great canidate for the clinical trial.
Now as Andy still fights the good fight he has been out of work and we all know just because something terrible happens doesn't mean that life stops. He needs our help and in a big way. His medical bills are piling up, and being out of work is making it stressful to keep up with everyday bills. Anything that can be donated is blessing to help out this great person and wonderful friend. I thank you, Andy's family will thank you and Andy himself will be truly blessed with the amount of love that we can show him.
