Burundians and friends of Burundi:
WELCOME!; KAZE!; BIENVENUE!
The Reunion 257 event is a social gathering which takes place every year. The purpose of the event is to bring the Burundian community together, share ideas, volunteer, network and discuss how we can contribute to the development of our Burundi.
This year, the event will be held on July 1st till July 3rd in sunny Phoenix Arizona. The event will be hosted by Burundian youth who all share a common dream:
"Ubumwe, Ibikorwa, Amajambere"
Translation: "Unity, Work, Progress"
In order for this event to operate smoothly and reach the potential that we all know it can, a certain amount of funding is necessary to get things off the ground. That's where YOU come in! All money raised will go toward operating costs (venue rentals, promotions, performances, feeding attendants, sound and lighting, etc.)
We are really excited to announce that this year, we are teaming up with BAHO (Burundi Arizona Heritage Organization) to bring this event to life. We will be celebrating Burundi's independence and have a whole lot in store for you guys!!!!!
