I'm Terri Jackson's friend and my name is Sara Owen. Please take a moment to read this especially for Terri Jackson.
When I first asked her to let me set up gofundme for her, she had a hard time accepting that idea. After a good while, she decided to give me a green light. That tells me she is very humbled and has always been a giver- not a taker or a begger.
We all know she has been battling with cancers. For those who don't know the whole story.
November 2011- that's when she first found out that her left breast had cancer then she had her first chemotherapy for 3 months.
February 2013- left breast had cancer AGAIN. That's when she had double mastecotomy. Had to go do the chemotherapy again for 3 1/2 months. Then radiotherapy for 1 1/2 months.
More nightmares came- tumor in her liver in Dec 2013. So she had to take medicines to try to kill off that tumor. It worked and she had a small break in between then 2 more new tumors in her liver in Feb of 2015. Took different kind of medicines to kill those 2. In April of 2016, found a new tumor . That's when the doctor said she has to do the chemotheraphy again for the 3rd time from August to Jan 2017.
Now, imagine all the medicals bills from 2011 to 2016.
Five years of suffering.
Everyone know that life can be so UNFAIR and we know there are good people out there want to do something to help but how? This is your chance.
She had never ask for money to help to pay for her medicial bills. Now she's been struggling months by months. It was very hard for her to admit this. This is a HUGE upfront battle that she has been fighting. She's not asking a lot. She just need enough to pay her medicial bills from now to this Decemeber. We all know that struggling with financial month by month can put A LOT OF STRESS on her and the family.
Knowing Terri, she will be very HUMBLED to see how much love will be pour in when she let you all help her by doing this. It will meant a lot if she and her family could just to breathe more each month with their fiancial.
