Thunder’s story began in heartbreak, but with your help, we hope it will end in healing.

In late April 2025, Thunder was found abandoned in a park—dehydrated, limping, and covered in ticks. When we brought him home, we gently bathed him and spent hours removing every tick. Despite being scared and exhausted, Thunder quickly opened his heart to us, clinging to the safety and love of his new forever home.

But Thunder’s challenges didn’t end there. At just 6 months old, he continues to struggle with a limp in his back leg, and recently, we discovered a large abdominal hernia—about the size of a grapefruit. He is still so young, yet his little body has already endured more than most dogs ever should. We can only imagine the trauma he faced before being rescued, especially since he trembles with fear around cars.

And yet, Thunder’s spirit shines through. He remains a joyful, affectionate pup, running and playing with his sister despite his weakness. He doesn’t complain or show pain—only love and gratitude for the second chance he’s been given.

Thunder now needs specialized medical care. Surgery will likely be required to repair his hernia and ensure he grows up strong and healthy. On top of this, he still needs to be fixed and continue his vet visits. As you can imagine, these medical bills are overwhelming, and that’s why we’re asking for your help.
