Thank you all so much for your support, presence, and well wishes in these trying times. The last few weeks have been very difficult and emotionally draining. Despite all the bad things happening in the world, there has been an enormous outpouring of love and support. So many of you have been asking how you can help and show your support for the Ukrainian people. This go fund me will be specifically for helping my family and their closest friends that are still in or fleeing Ukraine at this moment.
Currently, six members of my family and some of their closest friends are trying to drive from Kharkiv to L’viv and ultimately crossing into Poland for safety. My Grandmother Larissa, Cousins Elena & Pavel, and their son Dania, my Aunt Tasha, and my Uncle Vlad are among this convoy. We pray for their safe passage and hope this fund will make their journey just a little bit safer. I never imagined that my loved ones would be victims of a humanitarian crisis, and you would not think it was possible until it landed on our home soil.
Through all the pain, agony, and tears, I have found inspiration and motivation through the strength and resilience of the Ukrainian people and will do everything in my power to help them. My Father, Nicholas Step Mother Sveta and so many others have not fled, and they will also need support. These are proud, honest, and hardworking people, much like yourselves and your families.
Leaving your homes suddenly with only what you can carry is extremely difficult, and I hope that none of us will ever have to experience this. Even after leaving the Country, they will have a tough road ahead of them with transportation, applications, paperwork and meeting their basic needs of food, water, and shelter. Hopefully, we can meet our goals to help them through this crisis. Every little bit helps and will make a huge impact in their lives. Thank you again for your love and support.
