Dear family and friends,

Everyone knows Olive as the friendliest, most lovable, best dog in the world. Today was the worst day of our lives. She was hit by a car in front of our house and is in critical care, suffering from severe head trauma. She has suferred multiple fractures and bone dislocations. She has been to two animal hospitals, where she has had multiple X-rays and tests. She has to remain in the hospital, since she is not stable, in order to continue to receive medications, fluids and critical care until next week, when the neurologist can perform more tests. The doctor gave us optimistic news of her having a 70% chance of survival. However, she also gave us a high, unaffordable cost, but we would spend any amount of money to still have Olive in our life.
