My classroom needs new desks

Hi, I am a Science teacher at Mt. Eden High School in Hayward, CA.  I am in my second year of teaching, and I have a great group of students that I work with.  over the last two years, I have had to field a lot of complaints from my students about the quality of our desks. First of all, the desks are only built for right handed students, so any student that writes with their left hand are not supported, and this can cause some sore arms and wrists.  Secondly, the desks are so small that most notebooks and textbooks do not entirely fit while they are trying to take notes. My students work hard and they deserve to have some updated desks! 
I am trying to raise money to purchase new desks so my students can have a more positive learning environment.  Thank you in advance for helping to update and improve my classroom.
