Hi my name is Lisa and I am fundraising for my dog Dusty, at 18 months he developed epilepsy which was a complete shock at the time.

I was advised by the vet that the medication for epilepsy can cause problems with the liver, unfortunately Dusty did develop liver disease as well as pancreatitis. Over the years the medical cost have risen to a cost which I am struggling to pay, I do have insurance for him but now he is 8 I have to pay 20% of the costs which is £400 per months along with his insurance it costs another £400. He also has to have regular blood tests to check his liver which is over 300 pound each time.

Dusty is the kindest most patient dog I’ve ever known, he loves playing any ball sport or just watching it and loves to join every football match he sees. Dog trainers tend use him for help in training reactive dog's as he won’t react and will always remain calm.

He is still a puppy in my eyes and I love him to bits, With the right medication he can have a normal life and continue playing football with everyone.
