My name is Um Sanad, I am 39 years old and currently living in the besieged Gaza Strip. My home was destroyed by airstrikes, collapsing on me, my husband, and our children. Tragically, I lost my eldest son, who became a martyr, and my three daughters suffered severe injuries. I myself sustained a serious injury to my leg, which has left me disabled due to the inability to travel for urgent medical treatment.

After years of trying, I was blessed with a baby boy, but he too suffered greatly—he has lost his right kidney and sustained severe burns across his entire body. He urgently needs medical care. My husband is also disabled and unable to support us.

We have been displaced and living in a tent inside a shelter center for more than a year and a half, under extremely harsh conditions. We lack basic necessities. Food is scarce and extremely expensive. My children suffer from severe malnutrition—we can only provide them with one meal per day. They are losing weight, look pale, and can no longer concentrate due to hunger.

They cry for bread, which we cannot afford. We do not have enough blankets or proper bedding and endure extreme cold, especially at night.

I am pleading with kind hearts and humanitarian organizations to look upon us with compassion. Please help us with food, medical treatment, and warm bedding. I cannot bear the loss of another child after losing my eldest. We are in desperate need.
