One of my very best friends has recently experienced a chain of unfortunate events, putting her and her family in financial hardship. Kerri and Jamie have worked very hard through the years creating a stable and secure home for their four children.  Kerri a radiologic technologist and Jamie a successful plumber. On Sept 14th, Jamie was in a horrific accident leaving him paralyzed. His prognosis remains unknown at this time. He is currently hospitalized at Rhode Island Hospital, slowly preparing to be transferred to a rehabilitation center. As the sole provider of the family, Jamie has worked for a local company as well as numerous side jobs to make end meet.,

 

Additionally Kerri has battled with Crohns for over 10 years. She has managed this condition and its unpredictable symptoms through the years. However as the disease progressed, exacerbations of this condition has recently caused increased hospitalizations and the need for invasive surgery, leaving Kerri unemployed as she struggles to recover, battling numerous infections and complications over the past year and half.
