Jackie P's War Against Cancer

Jackie worked at a landscaping company in Ithaca, NY, for over 15 years and was as dedicated an employee as you'd ever meet.  This is me, Pat, writing this.  I've worked with Jackie nearly every day for the past 6 years until she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this past summer.  Angela P is also adding to the story -- she's the one who cut Jackie's hair a few weeks ago -- black Italian hair to her waist.  

Jackie is the main breadwinner for her family, because her husband, Lauren, in the background, brought up their two daughters (Leah, Lauren Eilzabeth) and has been the family caregiver, cook, etc.  Lauren Elizabeth just got married this weekend!  Congratulations!

Any money raised will be used for living expenses and doctors' bills.  Jackie has had two rounds of chemo and will endure more  in hopes of shrinking her tumor so she can be operated on in New York City soon.  Her third round of chemo is scheduled for this  week -- after the wedding 

We will all at Cayuga Landscape rest a little easier if we know that Jackie has enough money to live on.  As long as I've known her, she's worried about money, now her efforts need to be devoted to getting better and doing what she wants to and needs to do, rather than always caring for others and their needs.
