Little Ellie

My granddaughter, Ellie Grace Mijares, was born on November 12, 2019.  She was 27 weeks and 2 days old when she was born. She weighed 1 lb 7.5 oz, and was 11.5 inches long.  She is so tiny, but a fighter!  We all love her already.  Unfortunately, she will need to stay in the NICU until at least her original due date which is February 9, 2020.  She is at a wonderful NICU in Naperville, IL., but as with many medical situations, it is going to be very expensive for my daughter Megan, and her husband, Jimmy.  Although they have insurance they have been warned that there may be costs that are not covered, as well as, the out-of-pocket maximum amounts for both 2019 and 2020, since she will be in the hospital over the new year.  In addition, both Megan and Jimmy will have to take time off without pay to ensure that someone is able to be with Ellie in the NICU as many days as possible.  As with most young couples this amount of medical costs can cause financial distress.  Therefore, I have decided to ask for your help to help them and Ellie.   Thanks in advance for your prayers and support!
