Hi, my name is Octavio Alvarado-Reyes and my
nickname is Camachito.  I suffer from a very rare lung disease called Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis ( PAP) and I am being treated at the National Institutes of Health, in Bethesda, Maryland.  Without a lung transplant  my chances of survival are minimal and unfortunately,  the National Institutes of Health does not offer this type of transplant.  Therefore,   I am asking for your help to raise funds in order to obtain a lung transplant at another medical institution.

There is a saying in Spanish that goes like this:  "Today for me, tomorrow for you".  We need to  help each other because one never knows what lies ahead and when we are going to need help from another person.  Thanks in advance for your help.  For every dollar that you donate, you will be blessed in multiples ways  by the Lord. 

Hola, mi nombre es Octavio Alvarado-Reyes y me apodo es Camachito.   Sufro de una condición muy poco común llamada Proteinosis Alveolar Pulmonar and recibo tratamiento en los Institutos Nacionales de la Salud en Bethesda, Maryland.  Sin un trasplante pulmonar, mis posibilidades de sobreviviencia son mínimas y lamentablemente, los Institutos Nacionales de la Salud no ofrece este tipo de trasplante.  Por ello, estoy pidiendo que me ayuden a recaudar fondos para que pueda obtener un trasplante de pulmón en otro hospital. 

Como dice el viejo refrán,” Hoy para mí, mañana para tí”.  Necesitamos ayudarnos los unos a los otros porque uno nunca sabe lo que le espera en el futuro y  cuando va a necesitar la ayuda de otra persona.  Por adelantado, muchas gracias por su ayuda.  Cada dolar que usted dona por mi causa se multiplicará muchas veces con las bendiciones de Dios.
