Hello. My12 year old son, Jayden, has Histiocytosis. He has LCH or Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis. There are multiple Histiocytosis disorders out there each one having its own issues. You can learn more about Histiocytosis at www.liamslighthousefoundation.org and www.histio.org. LCH is a rare cancer that can wreak havoc on the human body. It’s an awful disease that can leave many with lifelong problems. My son had it in his CNS, skin, and still has it in his GI system. The LCH in his CNS killed his posterior pituitary leaving him with Diabetes Insipidus and left his anterior pituitary damaged so much that it is disappearing. This causes him to have multiple hormone issues. He has already lost his thyroid hormone and is losing his growth hormone. It can also cause neuro-degeneration. I crochet and have come up with a stuffed dragon that I would love to send to all of the children and adults who are fighting Histiocytosis. I believe this dragon represents the strength and bravery these Histio warriors have. I need help to be able to ship these to every Histio Warrior out there because they are all over the world. Without your help this would not be possible. Thank you so much for your time and help. We greatly appreciate it!!
