Fire Support Fund BenShoshan Family

A devastating natural disaster took place yesterday (Sep. 26, 2016) in the Santa Cruz Mountains, where more than 1000 acres burned to ashes and in those flames the house of our beloved friends, the Ben-Shoshan’s. The house that with genuine and unconditional love they have opened and shared with everybody throughout the years has turned into dust within a few hours, vanishing in the flames, ALL of their belongings, their livelihood, their memories, their art, 10 years of effort… All disappeared in what it feels like the blink of an eye.

We are grateful that above all else they are safe now, Jade, Maidan, beautiful Noi (2 years old) and Baby Ohr (1 ½ month-old new-born baby) and that as painful and shocking as all of this is, they are doing everything to keep their spirits strong.
In this time of crisis the value of community is immeasurable; we are praying and working to bring our powerful community together to support and nurture the Ben-Shoshan family in this extremely difficult time. We are uniting our efforts to help them rebuild their life from the ashes. Let us give back all the love and light that we have received from them throughout the years, every donation is deeply appreciated...
They are truly a jewel to our community, peaceful warriors and we will see them rise from this stronger and wiser.
