We are a group of volunteer veterans and spouses of veterans who bonded together with the motto, "Veterans Helping Veterans". We want to assist people with getting all that is due to them for their dedicated service to our country and to freedom. Many veterans are suffering from disabilities caused from their military service and we want to be here to help.
Veterans Corner volunteers are here on Thursday mornings from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm to help with your claims. Sign-in begins at 6:30 am. allowing us to help even more veterans and their spouses.
Hours:
Monday-Wednesday and Friday - 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
(Gate opens at 7:30 a,m,)
Thursday sessions at 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
(Gate opens at 6:30 a.m.)
Your new Veterans Corner building was constructed with your donations and will be used to help even more veterans.
The new Veterans Corner building is located 2 miles west of the Riverwind Casino on Highway 9 Exit 106. We are on the north side of the highway just past Western Ave.
Veterans Corner is looking to the future with the volunteers serving and using their energy to assist veterans and their families. We have accomplished one goal, having a dedicated facility to have a bigger impact in the lives of veterans and surviving spouses, but we are not finished yet and continue to look to the future with all of us meeting the needs of veterans and their families. All members on the Veterans Corner Board continue to give 100 % for this cause. Most of our current board members, who volunteer and take time out of their busy schedules, have served with distinction and continue to serve fellow military members and to change the lives of veterans families who need our help.
Veterans Corner drivers offer rides to veterans to doctor appointments, to the VA or to Veterans Corner.
