The Boston Walk to Defeat ALS at Carson’s Beach in Southie will take place on October 22, 2016.  Team Baystate will be participating again.  The Baystate Charitable Foundation will be a corporate sponsor again this year as well.  While the walk is not until 11:00 a.m., Team Baystate’s event will start at 8:30 a.m. and will continue after the walk is completed.

This event is all about participation, comradery and a great day for all who attend.  We are hoping to get 150 people raising or donating a minimum $100 or more to be part of Team Baystate this year. 

Team Baystate and The Baystate Charitable Foundation have been fighting the battle to defeat ALS for several years now.  Some of our co-workers and some of our clients have direct experience with this insidious disease and the toll it takes not only on the person afflicted, but also on their families, relatives and care givers.  The Foundation is a corporate sponsor of the event again this year, in keeping with its mission of philanthropy and helping families in need.  Team Baystate is always one of the largest contingents at the walk and has raised significant funds to donate to the fight to defeat ALS.  Please assist us in continuing the effort to find a cure.

 We will have Tee-Shirts,  lawn games, music and hot breakfast!!! 

Families, kids, spouses, significant others, etc. are all encouraged and welcome to attend.
