Christian Ford can beat cancer!
Donation protected
Early this week Christian Ford had seen his family doctors who advised he had a stomach bug but on September 24th Christian woke up with horrible stomach pain that he could not tolerate. He went to the Grant County ER where they did multiple tests and after 6 hours transferred him to Children's hospital in Cincinnati. From the results of a cat scan they found a large mass on his stomach. It had attached to Christians spleen and bladder. Christian was diagnosed with cancer. They did surgery to take a biopsy and also gave him a central line in his chest to administer chemo. After surgery we were told Christian has Lymphoma. He has a long road ahead of him. We are being told that he will spend at least a month in the hospital without leaving and after that chemo will lasts around 9 months and in those 9 months he will spend 3 weeks at the hospital and 1 at home each month. Christian is 10 years old. He is a running back for the Grant County Powerhouse football team. He doesn't meet a stranger that doesn't fall in love with him. Both parents are staying at the hospital for now, causing work to be missed. Also there will be a lot of driving back and forth. There are also 3 sisters who are 14, 16 and 20. The younger two will still have to get back and forth from school and day to day activities. If you would like to donate to help ease some financial strain of everyday bills, multiple trips back and forth, and other expenses we will face it is greatly appreciated. If you cannot donate, we completely understand. Please keep Christian and our family in your thoughts and prayers!
