Help Save Charlie

My name is Amy and I am the proud mom of a five-year-old Corgi named Charlie. A few weeks ago, Charlie was diagnosed with lymphoma and without treatment, she was only given three weeks to live. Charlie, as you know is my family. And I'm not ready to lose her yet. The vet recommended that Charlie undergo chemotherapy. The side effects for dogs who receive chemo, unlike humans, are very mild. Charlie won't suffer undergoing the treatment, and with any luck, and a lot of love, Charlie may just beat cancer. She's young and we caught this early. She has a real chance. I know that our relationships with our pets, our paw partners that bring out the fun and beauty in the world, are a cursed one. Because like too many things, your time together is too short. I'm just not ready for our adventures to end. I don't want our chapter to be a short one.

So I'm humbly asking that you'll join me as I do everything in my power to help Char fight cancer. I've already started her chemo treatment. She'll rotate between IVs and chemo pills (which Char receives wrapped in chicken) over the next six months. And if we're able to beat it together, Char could have years to continue her adventures as a professional racecar driver and power surfer, and heck, she may even begin a career as an influencer.
