Hi Friends,

As many of you know, Aart became partially paralyzed after emergency spinal surgery a few weeks ago. While he is in physical therapy working hard to relearn basic life skills, we need to make many quick and costly transitions. These include remodeling the house to be wheelchair accessible and financing continued non-covered home care. Since Aart had to close his practice, our family income decreased by more than half. Therefore, we are trying to pool our resources to minimize the cost of Aart's care and the house modifications. If you cannot support us financially, we would welcome help with construction, moving Aart's office furniture, at home care, and meals. We appreciate the incredible amount of love and support you have shown us.
