It's Sally's Time
Donation protected
I've been friends with Sally Larsen since we were fourteen years old. She has been with me on this journey of life--and knew my grandparents, cut my elderly Grandma's hair, helped me with my wedding, and cried with me when my parents died. She's one of those lifelong friends, someone who has always been there.
Sally is only 58-year-old lady, a hairdresser from Canby. My dear friend is very ill, and has been on hospice for about six weeks. She's dying. I can hardly say those words.
Several friends and family have been stepping in to help, and Sally is so grateful. The last few days have been hard.
The hospital bed got moved in tonight. When Sal opens her eyes it is to say "Thank you" and "I love you." She never asks for much, just some fresh ice or a hug.
I am starting this fund because she has only a few weeks, if that. I'd like our community to help keep her daughter at home--she generally works full-time and has her own cleaning company. The family is in a small apartment, and owing to Sally's very poor health for a long time, they have struggled. The money donated will be used to help offset her daughter's income and pay some bills.
Please throw in whatever you can afford so her daughter can be with her mom in these final days.
Anything helps. Thanks so much, Canby community, and let's keep a daughter with her mom during this very difficult time. I am thankful and grateful for any help.
This campaign will be fairly short. We just don't have much time. Again, thanks for anything.
