Hello, our names are Sydney and Kirsten. We are reaching out to ask for help for our uncle/brother and his family during his cancer fight. Bruce's journey so far is this... He was diagnosed in 2023 with kidney and a rare form of colon cancer. Treatment started in January 2024 with the removal of his kidney. He went home to heal and was scheduled in May of 2024 to remove the tumor in his colon. He started immunotherapy to help with his treatment.

Bruce has been doing his treatments. This summer, he started having some health issues, went for some scans, and there are spots on his abdominal wall that are causing chaos to his health and lesions on his liver. Plans were made to go to Sioux Falls for treatment, but he hasn't been able to start the treatment that was discussed. Bruce ended up in the hospital in November and started dialysis three days a week. He was moved to Sanford Hospital to continue treatment. He started his chemo to help shrink lesions and is still doing dialysis three times a week. He is on a feeding tube to get nutrition, and with the kidney failure, he is in rough shape.

This is where the next journey begins. Bruce has been moved to a critical care hospital in Mandan for special care. He is the sole provider of his family and can't work. As his treatment continues, the financial burden of medical bills, medication, and daily living expenses is becoming overwhelming.
