My name is Julie and I have two amazing dogs that I would give the world to if I could. My friends and I try to make it to our local dog park whenever possible and boy do they love to socialize. I am submitting this for our local dog park The Connie Nott Canine Area : PDP(Project Dog Park).
It's a great place for the dogs but I would love to see it have even more for them to enjoy.
Project Dog Park is the official organization which worked to establish an off-leash dog park in Galesburg, Illinois.
In June 2014, the Connie Nott Canine Area was opened in Inbinder Park (1285 W. Carl Sandburg Drive) on land which was generously donated by the City of Galesburg.
Through special events and fundraising activities, Project Dog Park strived to develop the first leash-free dog park in the area. Charitable contributions from the local community along with the hard work of a few people donating their time, physical labor and money, made this dog park possible for our community.

We are currently trying to raise money to add some fun things for the area pups to use. Our goal is to get a water pad which would be great for the dogs to cool off on those hot summer days we can get in Illinois. An agility area would be great too for those active dogs that like to go, go, go!
We would use the money on agility equipment and water access/water pad equipment. And depending on funds, we would love to start in the spring.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! Our dogs mean everything to us and seeing them happy is one of the best feelings! Thank you for your consideration.
