Lacey's journey

Lacey is 22 years old.  She is currently in ICU Step-Down at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.  She has MRSA in her blood.  She has staph pneumonia in both lungs.  Her heart is infected and she needs a valve transplant.  She also has Epstein Barr and CMV viruses.  She has not been responding to the second round of iv antibiotics.  She has been in the hospital 10 days so far.  She is under oxygen and will have her lungs drained on 5/2.  When her heart and lungs are better, she will still be hospitalized for 6 weeks having iv antibiotics administered.  Her mother (who is single) has not left her side and won't be able to for some time.  Also, they are 2 hours from home.  This is a very trying time not only emotionally, physically, mentally and spiriturally but also financially, as you can imagine.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  God Bless You All.
