One of our Field Supervisors, Bud Holmes, has been challenged with the massive undertaking of helping his daughter get through Stage 1 VCIS diagnosis and treatments in Houston, Texas.
Her first procedure was January 2020. The doctors tried to remove all of the cancer but unfortunately she will need an additional procedure before she will be able to start radiation treatments. This caused costly flight changes and more hotel stays, putting strain on the family.
Her second procedure is scheduled for March 2020 and the doctors expect that she will be able to move forward with radiation treatments following the procedure. Radiation treatments will be a month long ordeal causing the family to fund additional flights and hotel stays while continuing to pay all of the bills back home.
No parent should ever have to think of losing a child, and their child should not have to go through this alone. We hope to help with some of the financial strain during this challenging time so they can give their daughter the treatment she deserves and so that her family can be there for her every step of the way. Insurance covers some of the cost, it doesn't cover everything. We are asking for anyone who feels inclined to donate what they can to help cover treatments, travel expenses, and any the miscellaneous expenses that come up.
I believe that we are a team here at Stellar and when one of our own could use some help, we should come together, without them asking for help.
All donations will go straight to Bud and his family to help get them through this difficult time.
Thank You!
