I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to go to Phoenix this weekend and get to visit with Nancy - and Frank, Jonathan and her Mother too :) I truly am amazed to see Nancy getting better with each day after being so, so sick. She does have quite a way to go - but has come so far and is so determined to get better. She does have a home nurse visiting schedule in place, has IV 24-hours a day - but is at least at home. Frank can certainly add Nurse to his long list of titles and virtues as he is a saint and is tirelessly her comfort and her caregiver. I wanted to share these updates with you all as I know not all of Nancy's friends are in Phoenix - we are spread out all over the country. And I know it is comforting to get updates on her progress. Thank you for your kindness and generosity - so many have asked how they can support and how to show love. Your prayers are being heard so feel encouraged to keep praying for her continued wellness. We will be keeping the GoFundMe account open for a few more days - these funds are all going toward offsetting some of the medical bills and are being deposited directly to Nancy and Frank to pay accordingly. Nancy has asked me to thank everyone who have contributed to her GoFundMe account. I am so excited in the jump in donations in the last few days... please keep those donations coming in support of some significant obstacles that exist... no doubt, together we can make a comforting difference for Nancy.

Prayers have been offered graciously and have been answered! Great news - Nancy sustained two additional, for a total of three, surgeries and has gained so much improvement over the past couple of weeks. So much, in fact - she was upgraded from ICU to a 'regular' room recently and then.... GOT TO GO HOME TODAY. We are all so full of gratitude! Nancy has a considerable road ahead still - her home care starts now and includes in-home support care for continued IV medications and considerble physical theapy. SO keep those prayers coming... and your consideration of donating to this fund is encouraged and appreciated. Stay strong Nancy - we are all here cheering you on!

Continued prayers are the primary request of Nancy, Frank and her family... Many of you know that Nancy has been in ICU and has undergone two surgeries recently in her fight against an aggressive infection. Her second surgery was on Friday Sept 23rd - she is now under the ICU care (again) and taking lots of medicine to fight this. Naturally Frank is right there by her side every minute, of every hour of every day and night.
I know so many have asked what they can do to help... so setting up this GoFundMe account which will be used to help offset the growing medical bills. As you know, both Nancy and Frank are private business owners. Naturally, neither is focusing on work right now, of course. If you had wanted to send flowers and realize that ICU won't allow them - perhaps a donation to this fund would be a welcomed alternative for you. If you were thinking of sending a warm meal to provide comfort but realize that is not feasible at this point in Nancy's recovery journey - perhaps this is a good alternative for you. We all want to help as we continue to lift our friend, Nancy, and support her journey to recovery. Building a fund to help them offset some of the financial burden is a generous and thoughtful way to support Nancy and Frank -
Nancy and Frank truly are selfless friends who have always been there for all of us - in good times and in challenges. Their faith will stay strong and will help get them through this - as will the amazing love of their friends and devoted family.
