Help with rental assistance

My wife and I were staying with her family for a short period while the house we were intending on moving into became ready. The other day while my wife was at the house while I was at work her mother started getting verbally abusive towards her and it started escalating into physical, I.E throwing cloths into the yard and other personal belongings. All of this was happening while my wife was going through a medical emergency, after that my mother in law forced us out of the house and now we are currently staying in a hotel and are needing help making the deposit for a rental house due to the expenses that the hotel has cost us and also need a vehicle due to ours breaking down we have a rental but cannot afford to keep it much longer , my wife currently had a major surgery that she is in need of and we are needing something asap to stay in
