Please help John & Sandy Knight!

My dad, John Knight, went for a bicycle ride in Herriman, Utah on Saturday 16 July 2016.  He enjoys these regular rides up the canyon for exercise and for the views of the surrounding landscape.  On his way home, he was struck by a deer that bolted from the side of the road.   The next thing he remembered was  being helped to his feet by a kind couple who found him lying unconscious in the road. They normally wouldn't drive that route, but felt impressed to do so that day.  They helped him to call my mom, who then drove him to the University Hospital in South Jordan, Utah.  His right clavicle was broken into four pieces. He had a concussion, minor neck injury, and  several cracked ribs. Most the skin had been scraped off both knees and sustained other minor scrapes and injuries.  Thankfully my dad was wearing a helmet, which likely saved him from more serious head injuries. 

My dad had to have surgery on his right clavicle so the pieces could be realigned and healed properly.  Due to these injuries and the surgery, my dad jas been out of work and will not be able to return to work until October.  His absence from work has created a strain on their finances.  While they have health insurance and he has been receiving a reduced income, it is not enough to cover their monthly expenses and the added medical bills.  They need about $2,000  to make up the difference until my dad returns to work.  My parents have been real troopers about this trial, but they need our help.  Please join me in making a donation to help them get back on their feet after this accident.
