Ian Bernhard, 35, of Bethlehem Township, PA passed away on October 6, 2015 in Lower Saucon Township, PA. Born January 9, 1980, he was the son of Ralph and Susan C. Kuhnau Bernhard of Bethlehem Township, PA. Ian was employed at Worth & Company in Pipersville, PA and was a pipe fitter. He served in the US Navy for five years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, ATV's and diesel trucks. He is survived by his spouse, Brooke L. Sweeley, children Blaise Bernhard and Nia Rain Bernhard, step son, Aidan J. Sweeley, brother Rory Bernhard of Salt Lake City, Utah, sister Karla Renee Bernhard of Denver Colorado, paternal grandmother Renate Bernhard of Millington, N.J., maternal grandparents Hans and Ruth Kuhnau of Venice, Florida and a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue in Palmer Township, PA. There will be calling hours on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway in Palmer Township. The entombment will be private.
