Jenna Kyhl medical expenses

Donation protected
Nearly a month ago, Jenna began to have symptoms of severe vertigo, loss of coordination, and memory difficulties and confusion.  Orginally diagnosed with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, she began medication and physical therapy only to find that she was not improving.  Jenna was refered to an ENT who ordered an MRI of her head.  When the first MRI showed areas of great concern, she was immediately sent to a neurologist.

After an additional 5 MRI scans, blood work, and spinal tap, Jenna was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) on September 30th and immediately began high dose steroid IV treatment.  Jenna will continue this IV treatment for 5 days, then move to an oral steriod.  In 2 weeks, she will follow up with her neurologist (and likely more MRIs) and begin a regimine of immunosuppressant medication.  It is everyone's hope that Jenna's disease will be able to be controlled by the medications and get her back to her favorite lifestyle - teaching kids to ride horses!

As a horse trainer, riding instructor, and co-manager of Turning Point Ridge equestrian center in Waverly, IA, Jenna depends on the the income from her riding lessons to meet her personal expenses and bills.  Since she has been unable to work for the past month, and due to a medical deductible of $5000, Jenna is facing significant medical and personal expenses right now.

We hope that you would be willing to donate whatever you feel you are able to share to help offset her medical expenses while she is getting back on her feet (quite literally!)  Jenna is an amazing person who has been through much in her young life - she has had to handle the loss of both her parents while in college and yet her attitude and positivity continues to be a source of joy and inspiration to those who know her.

Jenna gives selflessly through her volunteer work with Retrieving Freedom, Inc  - an organization that trains and places services dogs to disabled veterans, veterans with PTSD, and autistic children.  Jenna has fostered and served as a puppy raiser for 4 dogs and continues foster the dogs until their final placement with their veteran or child.

Please consider donating any amount to help Jenna pay her medical deductible and other mounting expenses.  Jenna is one of the most generous people you could meet - we hope that for this time, she can be on the recieving end of generosity. Please donate if you are able and prayers are always appreciated.

Thank you so much!
