Being in my fourth year of college, my student debt is rising and my grants have run out. My fiancé and I just started renting a house and money is tight, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that I still need to pay almost $1,400 for this semester, even after accepting $1,500 in loans this semester, ALONE.

My strong passion for helping all children in the classroom (which I've had since the 3rd grade) is the reason for why I am majoring in elementary education at Metropolitan State University. Seeing what my brother had to endure throughout his schooling in a classroom as a child with special needs, is what finalized my dream of becoming an elementary education teacher. I am so excited to build a welcoming and accepting environment for all students, no matter their abilities, skin color, struggles, culture, etc. My students will be able to thrive and be proud of who they are in the classroom environment that I am excited to create for my students once I graduate in May 2018.

Being a cancer survivor, I am determined to follow my dreams. I was given a second chance at life and I'm grabbing life by the horns to sculpt it into everything I want/need it to be.

If you know me, you know that I hate asking people for money. I like being able to do it on my own and figure things out for myself. So asking for help is extremely hard for me. Creating this gofundme is extremely hard for me. I understand that others' money situation is just as tight as mine. So if you cannot help I completely understand, thank you anyways. Also, thank you in advance for the ones who can help.
