My name is Matthew Conklin and I've recently been diagnosed with ALS. Also known as Lou Gerhig's disease.The disease has progressed to the point where I am no longer able to work. Like many small contractors I presently do not have any medical insurance.Although there is no cure for the disease I hope to get into a clinical trial that might offer me some hope. In the meantime I really need some items to improve the quality of my life. With the money raised I hope to be able to buy a Handicap van and additional items to make my house more handicap friendly.
