Teri Van horn lives in rural Texas and serves as the founder of the Healing Light Facebook page, which has more than 2.4 million followers.  She is a healer and intuitive.  The most common question asked would be, “Why would an intuitive person need a Go Fund Me page?”  The reason is because those who are intuitive have the ability to see things in, and help others, but do not “see” things in themselves; a proverbial “world without mirrors” so to speak.

            In 2011 while providing animal therapy to adults with physical and mental disabilities, Teri was viscously attacked and permanently injured.  Insurance stonewalling delayed treatment until 2015, by which time her physical condition had badly deteriorated.  When finally being treated, Teri was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia. 

            In that same year while undergoing a medical procedure to alleviate chronic pain, Teri had an adverse reaction to the medications which had been injected, resulting in the severe and chronic spasms of her vocal chords and esophagus, closing off her airway.  She suffers from such spasms every day and night.

            Due to her medical conditions, her income significantly dropped as she was unable to work as she once had, and then the State of Texas denied her application for insurance coverage after her original insurer canceled her policy.  Her monthly prescriptions cost more than $2,300, so at this time she has had to stop taking them due to financial reasons.
