Words cannot express what a difficult year it has been for the Blake family. Mike and Casey Blake are two of the most generous and caring people that I know. It is for these reasons and many more that I reach out through this site. It has been heartbreaking to know that the Blake’s have had to endure two separate tragedies throughout this year. First, Mike’s loving mother contracted COVID late this year. Just before their mother’s hospital admission, the Blake’s found out that Casey was expecting. Their joy about the new pregnancy was unfortunately soon met with jarring news that the new baby, Jack, suffered from Trisomy 18. Sadly, Jack passed away in December of this year. With good reason, the Blake family is hurting. I truly believe that everyone in life needs to a catch a break at some point. The Blake’s need that break now more than ever.
