Help Stacherski rebuild
Donation protected
On the 23rd of September Cory Stacherski received a call that no one would ever want to get. The call came in while he was helping coach the Fleetwood cheerleading team during a home football event. It would be a phone call that would change his life forever.
During the evening hours on the 23rd, a fire broke out at Cory's home. The fire destroyed everything that he owned leaving him without a place to stay or clothes to wear. While the material items came be replace there is one item of this story that you can not replace. Cory's dog Shelby, a 3-year-old Husky, perished in the fire. If anyone knows Cory, you know that he loves certain things....cars, bikes, people, but above all else, he loved his dog.
Being close with Cory I can tell you that he has always been there for me, as I am sure I am not the only one who can say that. He always put others way before himself. He has never been selfish and when you need someone to talk to, he’s there. He would give you the give you the cloths off his back, if it meant helping others in a time of need.
The hard truth is that sometimes life happens. Bad things happen to great people and unfortunately this is one of those events. We are asking you to help Cory rebuild and create a new start. The money donated will go toward helping Cory buy cloths, food, shelter, etc. He is currently deciding what he will do with Shelby's remains as well. Events like this can be extremely hard as he lost a lot of memories in that house that he will never get back. I am hoping that by starting this page it will provide a base level of support for him to start making new memories.
One thing about living in Berks County is that the people are great and always willing to help a stranger in need. I am asking you to please share this page and help with donations. If you are unable to provide a monetary value but would still like to help, you can donate canned goods, clothing, etc, please email me through the contact information provided on this page.
