On Sept. 22, 2016 an extremely rare tornado ripped through Davis and Weber Counties in Utah. My daughter JoLyn's house layed right in the path of this destructive storm, and a giant cottonwood tree was deposited right on top of her home, caving in her roof. Fortunately the three occupants were able to escape without injury, but due to a live electrical wire were unable to retrieve any belongings. Three days of continuous rain followed the wind, soaking the contents of her home. Following the death of her husband 5 years ago, Jo has worked 2 and sometimes 3 jobs and was finally able just 3 months ago to purchase this little house for herself and her son. She is now faced with a large deductible and other miscellaneous expenses in order to recover their cozy little home. If you can help with expenses it would be greatly appreciated. If all you can do is share her story so that others might help, we appreciate that just as much. Thank you and God bless.
