In November of 2015, my brother was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer. Although it has been a rough ride, he is doing much better now. A couple of months ago, his department at work was shut down and he was let go from work. His insurance has been cancelled since he is unable to work to pay for Cobra. 

He has made amazing progress in his recovery, however he still has some testing that has to be done. His upcoming PET scan is $5000 which the medical facility has to be paid up front. He also has to undergo another bone graph as well as some other testing, of which we are not sure of the exact cost yet. He will also be under his doctors care for the next 5 years with required office visits.
