Jerry Valeske Memorial
Donation protected
On August 6, 2016 at approximately 3 p.m. our good friend, Gerald (Jerry) Valeske), passed away of natural causes while doing what he loved best -- sailing his Hobie 18. He was leading a race at his favorite spot -- Lake Quinault. He is survived by his wife, Laura Sullivan, son Jason, brother Ray, and mother June.
Jerry was skilled and loved for so many things, and will be most remembered for his love for his wife, Hobie youth sailing, fiberglassing, t-shirt artwork, trophies, PROing, and woodworking. The sailing community has lost a very dear and passionate friend.
A donation is being collected in memory of Jerry. The proceeds from this project will be donated by Laura to a charity of her choosing which supports the memory and passion Jerry shared with all of us. You may make donations here, or save us the 3% funding fee and mail checks directly to: Laura Sullivan, 12418 83rd Ave. S, Seattle, WA 98178.
Thank you to ALL of the friends, family, and especially Hobie sailors who rallied to Laura in her time of need and gave her the love and support she needed. The outpouring of love has been truly overwhelming. Thank you, all!
