Help For Angela Hollar's Family

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for opening the link and looking at this. Most likely you knew my mother if you're on here but for those who might not have. Angela Hollar, my mother, was unexpectedly taken from us way too soon on Wednesday, September 21st 2016. She was born on May 8th 1978(she was only 38)She grew up in Milwaukee, then lived in Rockford and surrounding areas. She gave birth to me at only 15 years old. She was a single mother, and after having me, she dropped out of high school to work full time so she could provide a home for us and take care of me. Although she was getting by in the early years of my life, with the help and support of my grandparents, she knew she could do better and that God had a much bigger plan for her. She got her GED around the year 2000, and while still working attended Rock Valley College where she got her nursing degree(s). LPN(2003) and ADN-RN(2004). She quickly fell in love with her new career because of her passion for helping people, counseling people, and sometimes just being the shoulder for them to cry on. She enjoyed many years as an ICU nurse because she strived for the fast pace, and critical thinking environment that came with it. She fell in love on January 6th, 2005 when she gave birth to my baby sister Jazmyn. But I'm proud to say she didn't let having a baby slow her down any. She still worked full time and continued working on her education. She received her BSN(2010) and was still taking classes part time to become a nurse practitioner. Although her life was too short, I take comfort in knowing she touched so many people's lives, especially as a nurse and as a parent. Being only 22,with my own 2 kids, I was not prepared for this in the slightest emotionally or financially and neither was my 11 year old sister. Luckily my mom had insurance and most of the big costs will be taken care of, but the money being raised will help with expenses of moving and storage of her belongings, will help with my family's finances for the next few weeks and will also be used to get stuff for Jazmyn so her transition to her dads will be easier and more comfortable. I'd also like to catch up on a few of her bills(like her storage unit that contains tons of our family's pictures and Jazmyns orthodontic stuff). She was always willing to help me and my children so I'd like to return the favor and make sure Jazmyn still receives the love, care, and attention that she requires and deserves. For example, last year I was going through a separation from my ex and money was tight(non existant). She helped pay my utilities that were overdue several months, she took me grocery shopping several times before my kids came to stay so they had food to eat, and even bought stuff for my aquariums(knowing that it was my only hobby that helped keep my mind off things). Not only did she do all that, but she also bought my kids tons of Christmas presents, allowing me to say that some were from Santa and me, because I had only been able to buy them a few presents each which really bothered me.
I know everybody's lives are still going on and that most people can't donate a lot, but every dollar and every donation will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this and getting to learn a bit about my wonderful mother. I wish I could come up with the words to truly describe her amazing, uniquely-complex, personality. And if you choose to donate, I thank you again. God Bless Thank you all for the support. Jordan Hollar and Jazmyn Austin
