Melissa Taylor New Home

On the night of August 7th 2023, El Cajon resident Melissa Taylor was awakened to her mobile home on fire. Miraculously, she escaped without bodily injury. Sadly, her 4 cats perished in the electrical fire that spread too quickly for anyone to reenter or rescue them. She lived there for 19 years, and would have had her mortgage paid off in April 2024.

Our goal is to help Melissa with the financial and emotional costs of demolition and clearing the property; purchasing a new mobile home; installing new appliances and furnishings; and replacing her personal cell phone.

She is a hard working, productive and caring person who always helps others in need, before thinking of herself. She has worked for the same local business for 27 years, and was making plans for retirement, when this tragedy occurred.
