While watching the 2016 Olympics, did you notice the young gymnast near the beginning of this promo? Her name is Amalya, and she has Olympic aspirations of her own. She also happens to be my friend's niece; that's how I became inspired to start this campaign!
In the short term, Amalya's goal is to compete in the 20th Maccabiah Games in July 2017. But first she has to qualify...and you can help!
Young gymnasts from across the USA will converge in Norman, OK, on December 3 and 4, 2016, to try out for the Maccabi USA team. Amalya needs $3000 to cover her expenses of participating in this competition. Can you help her reach her goal?
