Help Bring the Al-Halabi Family to safety
Donazione protetta
I am launching this campaign on behalf of my friend. He wrote the following:
My name is Mahmoud Al-Halabi, and the war in Gaza has shattered my family's world. Our home, where laughter used to echo and dreams took flight, now lies destroyed - a constant reminder of what we've lost.
The school where my children, Mera (19), Lama (16) chased knowledge is just a pile of rubble.
Living in the Rubble of Our Dreams
Gaza is no longer a place of life, but a constant threat of death. We were forced to flee our home from the Northest point in Gaza to the Southest point in Rafah, now just a monument to a stolen past. Currently, with the invasion of Rafah. In addition to the fact that finding refuge is nearly impossible. We are smothered with 25 other displaced souls in a single, cramped room. Privacy is a forgotten luxury, replaced by the constant murmur of despair.
A Family Photo, a Haunting Reminder
The picture of our family trip to Turkey below feels like a lifetime ago. Back then, our smiles were genuine, our futures bright. Now, fear shadows our every step. We yearn for a safe haven, a place to rebuild our lives, to dream again.
Escape: A Glimmer of Hope
Evacuating Gaza is our only hope. But the road to safety comes with a hefty price tag. Leaving Gaza costs a staggering $5,000 per person, including exit fees and the overwhelming costs of starting anew. Our goal of $30,000 represents a lifeline for our family – a chance to escape the nightmare and build a future where laughter can replace the sound of bombs.
Every Penny Paves the Way to Peace
Your donation, no matter the size, becomes a brick in the path leading us to safety. Sharing our campaign with your friends and family is another brick laid. Together, brick by brick, we can build a bridge out of this war-torn land.
Please, help reunite our family, not with the home we lost, but with the hope of building a new one. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
