Kolby Rousseu our friend, brother and son, unfortunately has hit a bit of a speed bump with his health.   Our community here would like to support this great young man and ease the monetary burdens that will be coming his way in the near future. The support has been overwhelming for Kolby and his family during this time and is greatly appreciated!  We realize it can be challenging on knowing how to help, so we are setting up this page for folks to reach out and do what is comfortable to support Kolby.

Kolby graduated from Mitty High School and went on to Gavilan and received an AA.   Kolby and his fiancé are currently planning their wedding for next summer.   Courtney has been at his side non-stop since Friday.   If you know Kolby, you know he LOVES hunting and fishing, and can’t wait to get back to it.   He joined the team of the Centennial Recreation Center a little over 5 years ago, and was just recently promoted to the Director of Health and Wellness.   The CRC has been his home away from home and he is a vital part of the facility.  He is extremely missed by the members and teammates.  If you know Kolby, he is anxious to get back to work as soon as possible. 

Last Friday afternoon he was experiencing numbness on the left side of his body. Shortly after he arrived in the ER, he was given an MRI. The MRI results stated that Kolby had a large mass on the right side of his brain. Saturday afternoon he went into surgery and 70% of the mass was removed. After inconclusive results of the diagnosis of the mass’ contents, it was sent to San Francisco for further analysis.  Kolby is working incredibly hard to gain his strength and motor functions on the left side of his body.   He was recently transferred to a local rehabilitation unit for physical therapy.  His determination to be back soon is remarkable.
