Cardno Baton Rouge Flood Relief

On August 12, the skys opened and rain began to fall. Soon many Louisiana residents began to see water rise; continuing to do so and leaving devastation in its path. It was unexpected, people were taken by surprise. Homes and businesses, historically safe from flooding, have been decimated and leaving hundreds of thousands homeless.

Cardno's Baton Rouge branch associates were hit hard by the flooding, some more than others. However, they are resilient; working together to clean up in the aftermath, supporting each other as only coworkers…and friends can.

Clean up entails emptying homes of possessions and treasured memories as well as ripping walls out, down to the studs. They are using strong cleaning chemicals to prevent and kill mold. This is all being done while also trying to move forward with current and future Cardno projects and activities.

How can you help? The purpose of this fund is to offer a little relief and support with rebuilding efforts. All funds donated will be collected by Cardno's Baton Rouge Branch Manager, Rhett Sloan, and disbursed appropriately to fellow Cardno associates in the Baton Rouge office. Every donation, no matter the size, will be used to to purchase every day items we don't think about as well as help in associates' rebuilding efforts. Thank you for helping your fellow Cardno associates.
